How can I can I connect to my rooms with Lync on premise?

To connect to your meeting rooms on Lync, you need to ensure that your IT team has federated your Lync environment to our domain. It is a simple process:

  1. Log on to your Lync server
  2. Navigate to admin panel
  3. Navigate to ‘External Access Policy’
  4. Enter domain name
  5. Enter the FQDN:
  6. Close the admin panel, add your room name to your Lync contact list as a contact
  7. Double click the room name contact 
  8. click call and enter the PIN when prompted
  9. Enjoy the video conference
